Where have I been? (Non-Rihanna Version)

UNBELIEVABLY LATE POST. Apologies. Here is a few things I've been up to recently plus some things I'm liking and getting inspired by.

I modelled for a 3rd Year at my uni's Fashion Film, Matthew Houston, who is extremely talented and had such an interesting concept for his film. The film illustrated subtle references to a personal situation and there were two characters, one playing good, innocent and victimised the other playing evil, coniving and mysterious. I played the evil as I had much darker features and I was continuely haunting the good. I was lucky enough to model along side a STUNNING model from Elite London and who I know is going to have an amazing career. All clothes worn in the video were designed and made by Matthew, who is also set to become the next big thaaaaang I think. Love the song by Active Child which suits the dreamy, blurry shots through the film. Flows like a dream. LOVE.

Some stills were also taken and have been loaded on flicker. Have a look see here

Obscure Couture- LFW

This weekend I got the amazing opportuinity to go to London to see the incredibly talented designers of Obscure Couture, Lyndsay Pagan and Jenn Coyle, show their AW 2012 collection at London Fashion Week. I am also lucky enough to get the chance to intern with them this summer and I can't wait! After being in only 3 days around them at christmas and this weekend, it's evident what passionate and creative souls they are and they make me so excited about Fashion it's CRAZY! To me they are what Fashion is about: being unique and individual and creating something that takes you on an unbelieveably mind blowing journey! I know there so much more success to come for them and I can't wait to see the growth and development of their label!

Some shots from the show which was at the Vaults just off the Strand. My skills with the camera are rubbish I apologise.

I got too excited at the end and only managed to snap the backs of the beautiful ladies! But the show was so STUNNING as you can see. Was also lucky enough to hit LANDAN town with the team afterwards where we had a blast at a club in Mayfair! Unforgetable time I had I must say!

Goth tendancies.

Absolutely beautiful stunning work by Gregory Nicholas. Loving all the dark colour palettes right now. I've always been a fan of dark colours and as most of friends know, my wardrobe is predominantly black and grey. Love the prints paired with the feminine silhouettes and I hope I get to experiment with print through my course. It really interests me how you create your own textile that has so many possibilities. These prints remind me of smoke and creepy wilderness.

Overall look created = AH-MAZING.
